I should have known I’d make travel my career when at 8 years old, I would call and order brochures from the Crimson Travel ads I saw on television. It never mattered what the destination was. Every time a new ad was on, I would order a brochure to help convince my mother to take me traveling. She would laugh and tell me to “save my pennies”.
I never took that trip to Disneyland with Rex Trailer but I sure did practice my sales pitch. Fast forward to the early 80’s; I worked across the street from Crimson Travel at Trips & Company in Harvard Square and have never looked back.
The business has changed dramatically over the years but the one constant is the personalized service and attention to detail that I provide my clients. My corporate accounts have become a large part of my business, but planning a honeymoon, destination wedding or family trip is still an integral piece of the puzzle. When it’s time to plan a getaway for myself, I usually head straight for a beach to relax and unwind.
